One man was arrested after the driver in a head-on collision that closed Lougheed Highway in east Maple Ridge on Saturday left the scene.
The highway was closed east of 240th Street.
One of the driver's left the scene on foot, according to Ridge Meadows RCMP, but was located and arrested a short time later near River Road and Callaghan Avenue.
He was taken to hospital, police said, as were three occupants from the other vehicle involved in the crash, an SUV, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
