Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District will once again be holding its yearly retirement tea.

Every year a tea is held to honour the contributions of those who are retiring from the school district.

However, the event has been put on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year 60 retirees are on the list of those being honoured and and all staff are being encouraged to attend, including past retirees.

The event will be taking place at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at Garibaldi Secondary School, 24789 Dewdney Trunk Rd., Maple Ridge.

For a full list of 2023 retirees go to: sd42.ca/assets/media/Retirement-Tea-Invitation-Everyone-20236.pdf.
