Three people were sent to hospital after a serious motorcycle collision Saturday evening (May 25).
Surrey RCMP is asking for witnesses to a motorcycle crash involving a minivan on 72 Avenue and 194A Street around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, or anyone with vehicle cameras (i.e. Teslas) or dash-cam footage, to contact them.
Several social media posts reported the motorcycle rider was travelling at a high rate of speed before the crash.
The collision caused significant damage to both the bike and the minivan.

Surrey Fire Service assistant chief of operations Rich Bodnark confirmed three people were taken to local hospitals, one in critical condition.
Surrey RCMP noted its Air Services “Air 1” helicopter was assisting with an investigation of the dangerous operation of a motorcycle, whereby the driver/motorcycle was safely being observed by air, in an email Sunday.
“The male driver of the motorcycle was involved in a collision with an unrelated vehicle and sustained minor injuries (non life threatening) and was taken to hospital to be treated,” Insp. Neil Kennedy said in the email.
Officers were en route to the general area if the driver attempt to flee on foot, and as a result, attended (the scene) post-collision, he added.
Several counts of criminal charges are being pursued against the motorcycle driver as a result of this incident.
Surrey RCMP is asking any witnesses to the event or those with dash-cam footage of the motorcycle being driven to contact the RCMP at 604-599-0502.
