A 274-unit townhouse development is being proposed for Pitt Meadows.
Council received a rezoning application for 19451 Sutton Avenue at a council meeting Tuesday.
The parcel of land in question, once owned by the city and now the property of Onni Group, would have to be rezoned from general agriculture to comprehensive development. It is located next to a school district-owned site in the South Bonson area.
City staff recommend the rezoning bylaw required for the application be given first and second reading. A second public hearing on the matter is to be held Sept. 2.
