BERBECK, ADAM GEORGE. JANUARY 1919 - JUNE 2014. Passed away peacefully with his daughter at his side. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marion in 2010, and son-in-law John White in 2010. Survived by his three children; son Robert (Lorna), daughter Sally and daughter Sharron (Lloyd); seven grandchildren Joanne, Amanda, John Jr, Steven, Beverly, Sandra and Catharine; and ten great-grandchildren. He leaves one brother Vincent and a sister Regina. Adam met his wife Marion in Nottingham, England in 1940 and they were married 69 years. Born in Garland Manitoba, one of nine children. Served his country from 1939 returning to Canada on a hospital ship in early 1945. Adam and Marion enjoyed travelling to many destinations, loving New Zealand and returning a few times. Australia. Greece. Several trips back to visit family in the U.K. Went to Hawaii to his grandson's wedding and tried body surfing at age 75. Services were held Monday 30th June.
