WAY - Anthony William ("King-King")

"Time to pause for thoughts of England now I'm far away..."

Born London, England, long-time resident of Maple Ridge. Passed away

peacefully June 29, 2005, at age 66, after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Way, and loving father of Dean (Candace) Way, Gary (Kathy) Way, and Jacqueline (Rob) Shaw. Loving grandfather of his six grandchildren with whom he spent many happy times. Also survived by his sister-in-law Eileen (Mick) Kinsella, sister Olive (Ron) Bingham and many friends and relatives both in Canada and across the pond.

Tony's greatest sense of pride and accomplishment came from seeing that his family on both sides of the ocean maintained strong ties. He will be remembered for his quick wit, love of politics, and endless knowledge of what he often called "useless bits of information". Tony will be sadly missed by all who loved him. The familiy wishes to thank the ALS Society, the staff at GF Strong and Ridge Meadows Hospitals, Dr. S. Mawani and all the home care aids and nurses for their compassion and support over the last 18 months. No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS society of BC.
