REEKIE, Betty. March 5, 1931 - July 27, 2014. Betty Reekie passed away suddenly on Sunday. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray, her 5 children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. She loved her walks over Thornhill, spending times with her family, and playing cards with Ray late into the night. She will be missed by her family and friends. Service will be held at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 - 224th St, Maple Ridge, on Saturday August 2 at 3:00 pm. Viewing will be at Garden Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31 from 6 - 8 pm.
