It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Brian Hughes. He is survived by his wife Brenda of 35 years, daughters Alison (Sam), and Emily (Josh), parents Marian and Barry, brothers Brent (Beatrix) and Scott (Stacey), nephews Ben and Markus, niece Laurel and his precious 4-month-old granddaughter Zoey.
Brian was a loving husband and father. Family was paramount to Brian, and he always put others ahead of himself. He was a kind and loyal friend who would find time to help out if he was asked. He enjoyed running, camping, vacationing, and had a love of animals. He had a passion for cooking and found so much pleasure in sharing food with others.
A special thank you to Dr. Ivanishvili for his kindness in helping Brian and our family navigate through such a devastating diagnosis.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BC Cancer Agency is appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held in early 2024.
