BIGLEY, Catherine. Surrounded by family Catherine Bigley, age 88 passed away peacefully at Eagle Ridge Hospital on July 20, 2013. Beloved mother of John and his wife, Ellen and Dianne and her husband, Glenn, and cherished grandmother of Adam, Bryan and his wife, Samantha, Carlene, David, Elise, and their partners. Catherine was an avid gardener, sewer, and loved to knit. She will be remembered for her warmth and wit. Catherine will be dearly missed by her sisters-in-law, June Groves and Doris Cook of Hamilton, Ontario. There will be a funeral service at Maple Ridge Alliance Church on Monday July 29, 2013 at 2pm, 20399 Dewdney Trunk Road (604-465-5717), with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
