The family of Dale Hogarth are saddened to announce his passing. Dale passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a loving Husband, Father, Papa, and GG. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley, and their 4 children, Randy (Diana), John (Susan), Sandra (Glenn), and Linda (David), their 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by his granddaughter, Amy and brothers Clare, Harold and George.
Dale was born in Vancouver to Helen and Jim, he grew up in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge with his siblings Brenda and Tim.
Dale spent his career on the water as a Tugboat skipper for Rivtow where he worked for many years. In his spare time, you could find him at the Pitt meadows Gun Club, as an active member, or shining up his Ford truck which was his pride and joy.
He took great pride in his home and garden, where his grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed the fruits of his labour and made lifelong memories.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or the charity of your choice. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
