Deborah Lee Daniels

April 23, 1951 - May 27, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Lee Daniels on May 27th, 2019 at the age of 68. Debbie left us peacefully and was surrounded by many loved ones in the McKenney Creek Hospice in Maple Ridge, BC. Survived by many loving family members and close friends, she leaves behind her husband, Stanley Wade, and three children: Heather Brown (Danny), Angela Brown, and Garth Wade (Christie). Garth and Christie gave her three beautiful grandchildren: Emily, Jack and Max. Although predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Gertrude Daniels, she got to enjoy many years with her siblings: Cilla, Ed, Gwen and Timothy Daniels along with their extended family.
Along with the love that she had for her family, Debbie's fun-loving attitude and desire to enjoy life attracted her a multitude of wonderful friends throughout the years. Her joy was socializing with friends and family as much as possible, planning trips and traveling in the motorhome with Stan, tending to her amazing yard and gardens (so many dahlias!) along with all of her many animal sidekicks in tow (she still had five dogs!). Her sense of humor and impact that she made on everyone that crossed her path will be sadly missed, but should be remembered when you need a smile. We are lucky that we had her for the time that we did and that her positive energy will always be with us.
She wanted to thank her Oncologist, Dr. Caroline Mariano, and her General Practitioner, Dr. Teodor Ivanov for their attentive and thoughtful care during her illness. Also, we would like to thank Fraser Health and McKenney Creek Hospice for the exemplary care and kindness she received from all of their support team. All of you are truly angels on earth.

Debbie's memorial day has been set for Saturday, July 13th, 2019. Stan would like to open up their home and yard to share in a day of remembering this amazing lady. The gate will be open to visitors at 1pm and remain open until the day is done! We are planning to sprinkle some of her ashes in her pasture at 3pm, so please do not hesitate to join us for this if your time permits. Stan is going to get a caterer from 4-6pm and there is plenty of room to stay the night (including areas in the yard for camping), so please let us know if you will be here for either of these so we can plan for numbers or answer any questions.
