THOROGOOD. Donald Nathaniel. It is with sadness we announce the passing of Donald Thorogood on August 15th, 2011 at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Scott (Pelin), Graham and daughter Robin (Philip), 4 grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. Don was born in Edmonton, AB and worked as a consulting engineer for 40 years until his retirement and resided in Maple Ridge, BC for the past 18 years. He was a founding member of The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) and was actively involved in Maple Ridge serving his community in several volunteer committees. He was also involved with Muscular Dystrophy Canada. He will be missed by all who knew him and most of all by his family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada in memory of Donald Thorogood.
