Long time Maple Ridge resident passed away peacefully on May 31 at Ridge Meadows Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1998 and is survived by her loving children Lennie, Mike and Patty and six granddaughters: Dorellle, Amie, Meghan, Sarah, Karen and Julie as well as great grandsons Jacob and Matthew. An open house celebration of Doreen's life will be held at the family home on Saturday, June 9 from 2 - 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice could be made in Doreen's name. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to the ICU doctors and nurses for their compassion, skill and care.
