MORROW, Edna Florence. August 8, 1921 - April 8, 2014. Edna passed away on April 8, 2014 at the age of 92 at Baillie House in Maple Ridge BC. She leaves behind her loving family: her son Donald Morrow of Bellevue Washington, his wife Marilyn and their children Sandra and Brian; her daughter Janice Lawrie of Pitt Meadows BC, her husband Randy and their children Andrea Kolmel and Scott Lawrie and great grandchildren Lauren, Kate and Edie; her sister Elinor Dickson of Maple Ridge BC and her husband Allan. Edna lived in East Kildonan and Elmwood, Manitoba most of her life before moving to Maple Ridge BC to be closer to her family. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1974, her sisters Edith Westerlund and Elsie Tadei and her brother Earl Westerlund. The family would like to thank all of Edna’s friends for their warm friendship for so many years. We also thank all the staff at Baillie house for their compassionate care. At Edna’s request there will be no service.
Cremation remains will be interred in Elmwood Cemetery in Winnipeg, Manitoba to be with her husband John. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
