In Loving Memory ~
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on May 20, 2023 at Ridge Meadows Hospital. Mom was born in Vancouver on October 11, 1930 to her parents Nels and Petra Rosenberg.
She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, daughter Wendy, sister Edie.
Survived by daughters Lynda (Mike), Janis (Ross), Kim (Amin) son Mike (Annie). Grandchildren Matthew (Spring), Michelle (Dave), Christopher, Carly (Greg), Jeremy (Jessica), Kyle (Claudia), Nicholas (Bronwynne), Curtis, Jonathan (Sandy), Jeff and 13 great grandchildren with one more expected this December.
Mom graduated from King Edward School, married Dad and lived in Vancouver until they moved to Burnaby in 1955.
She was widowed in 1967 and had five children to raise alone. She worked in ladies shoes at Eatons before working in Food Services at BCIT until her retirement.
In 2015 Mom moved to Willow Manor in Maple Ridge where she made many new friends. Mom could be seen walking all around town, shopping and especially supporting the Maple Ridge Hospice Store on 224th.
She also loved animals and fostered two older cats from Katie's Place as well as supporting the Maple Ridge SPCA.
Mom requested there be no service and in lieu of flowers please donate to Katie's Place and the Maple Ridge SPCA in memory of her.
