July 17, 1933 - May 28, 2019
The family is saddened to report that Floyd has died after a long battle with many and varied health issues.
He leaves behind his devastated wife of 66 years, Gladys. Also his children, Brenda (Bud - deceased), Janet (Mel - deceased), Lori (Dan - deceased) and Tim (Dawn) as well as his grandchildren, Nathan (Jody), Micah (Amy), Caleb & Sean.
Floyd was born in Sask., but spent most of his life in Haney, now called Maple Ridge. He worked at Mussallem Motors, B.C. Ambulance Services and as a local school bus driver.
His and Gladys's greatest passion was dance. Dancing was always prominent in his life. From his teenage years in Sask., to Woodmen of the World dances and B.C. Town and Country Square Dancers.
The funeral will be held on June 14th (Friday) at 2pm at the Haney Presbyterian Church and all are welcome.
A tea will be held afterwards downstairs at the church. (11858 - 216th St. Maple Ridge, B.C.)
