HEWITT - Frederick. Born August 28th, 1932 in Medicine Hat, AB, Fred passed away peacefully, April 11, 2013 at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC, in the presence of his family. Fred silently fought a diverse number of ailments while never complaining, he maintained a sense of humour and an optimistic outlook on life. Fred is predeceased by his parents Frank and Matilda and brother Charles of Nanaimo. Fred will be deeply missed and is survived by his brothers Hugh (Mary) UK, Clifford (Hilda) AB, wife Mary, children Laurie (Bob), Fred Jr., David, Grant (Anita), faithful and devoted companion, Sheeba, grandchildren, great - grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
