Missed by family and friends, George passed away May 24, 2019. He was predeceased by his wife Mylene and brother Frank. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Dan, daughter Georgi (John), brother Allan, and other family members. As a war veteran, he often reminisced about his time in the Navy. Living many years in Mt. Hope, Ontario, he raised his family, was a member of the Lions Club and United Church, volunteered to assist blind bowlers and worked in Hamilton as a machinist before retiring to Maple Ridge, BC. There he did volunteer work with Golden Ears United Church & C.O.P.S. as well as activities such as curling, baseball & socializing with friends which kept his retirement busy. He requested no service, but a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
