It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Thor Johnson announces his passing after suffering a fall resulting in a broken hip which he could not recover from.
He joined his beloved pre-deceased wife Doris on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his son Terry (Rena), and his grandchildren Tracy, Kirsty (Jason), Carly (Ryan) and great grandchildren Julia, Maya, Sage, Forrest, Indigo & Tanner and his sisters Diane (Jack), Maureen (Tom) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Jerry was a hard working and fun loving man who never hesitated to lend a hand and was fiercely protective and proud of his family. He enjoyed a career in forestry, carpentry, and later in life as a heavy duty mechanic and was known as a jack of all trades.
Never needing or wanting much attention, as per his wishes, there will be no service. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
