HUFFMAN ~ Gracie Annie (nee' Deighton)

Born August 28th, 1905, died July 31, 2006. Survived by her loving children Alice (Roger) Stubbs, Philip (Marilyn) and Jim (Netta). 8 Grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great~great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Bill, daughter Alice, brother George, sister May LaPier. Grace was born in Moosomin, Northwest Territories before Saskatchewan was made a Province. She grew up in Fairlight Sask., moved to B.C. in 1947, lived in Whonnock and Maple Ridge, and worked at Riverview Hospital until retiring in 1970, then moved to Nanaimo in 1999 and lived in Traveler's Lodge for the last 2½ years. She was a member for many years of the Orange Lodge in both Maple Ridge and Nanaimo. Grace will be sadly missed by her many family members and friends. A special thank you to Doctors: Love and Van Rensburg and a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Traveler's Lodge for their kindness and compassion.
