It is with great sadness that after a long courageous battle, Gregory passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Proceeded by his parents Mamie and Harold Greenslade, his brothers Terry and Steve and his brother-in-law Rob.
Survived by his loving wife Christina, daughter Lisa Merrick (Tristan Merrick), granddaughter Olive Merrick, daughter Ashleigh Grover (Steve Grover), Aunt Lucy, brother Tim Greenslade, sister Bonnie Martin, brother-in law Stephen Brettl, mother in-law Mary Brettl, father in-law Joseph Brettl and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Our dad was an inspiration to many people in the transplant community. His new lease on life for the past 8 years since his lung transplant never waivered. He was so lucky to get a second chance, and we are all so thankful for it. Our dad will be missed by many but most importantly never forgotten. Love you dad and we will miss you dearly.
Greg was a loving husband of almost 41 years. We created a wonderful life and I hold many memories of our adventures together close to my heart. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being a great partner in this life. Love you Chrissy.
Goodbye is not forever. Goodbye is not the end. It simply means we will miss you until we meet again. We cannot think of a better husband, father, or papa that we were so lucky to have in our lives. We love you so much Gregory, rest easy.
