ALTRICHTER - Henry
February 1, 1933 - January 19, 2015
With sadness we announce the sudden passing Henry Altrichter. He leaves behind his brother Walter (Anna) Altrichter as well his nieces and nephews, all in Germany. Henry also leaves behind Dane (Judy) Spence and family, a special friend for many years. Henry is predeceased by his brother Herbert and sister Hildegard. Henry came to Canada from Germany in 1968, with Toronto being his first stop and then followed his friend, Horst Heckhausen and family out to BC. Henry made his way to Maple Ridge and in the late 70's, Henry started his own construction company, Wolfson Homes, working mainly in the Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows area. In retirement, Henry settled on the bank of the Fraser River, where he puttered in his yard, rebuilt bicycles and flew his own hand made kites. Henry was a friend to many and will be missed. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Garden Hill Funeral Chapel, 11765 - 224th St, Maple Ridge.
