February 25, 1984 - April 11, 2024
It is with sadness that we announce that James Robert Brandon Calderwood born February 25, 1984, was called home suddenly on April 11, 2024.
Jamie was predeceased by his Mother Deanna Duggan and leaves behind his father Robert Calderwood, his dedicated second mother Debbie Calderwood, four siblings, Daniel (Isiah and Joel), Justin (Sylas and Leo), Melissa (Elijah and Wyatt), Alicia and Cousin Connie.
He lived his entire life in Maple Ridge and had a strong connection with the area. He loved drawing, listening to music and his nephews.
Jamie struggled with mental health issues throughout his life. His medical needs were just beginning to be met. He had a hard life and his family wanted to help but he needed more than their love could provide. He was much loved and will be deeply missed.
No service will be held at this time, however donations in his honor can be made to The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries, as this was a place he spent time and felt safe.
