LAROCQUE, Joan Edith (Nye)
August 22, 1926 - April 6, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Mum, Nana, Grandma and GG who was the most loving person we knew. She is predeceased by her husband Ernie, her parents Ronald and Kate Nye, her siblings Ron Nye (Fran), Grace Baker (Paddy), niece Helen and granddaughter Tara Leigh Penny. She leaves behind her children John, Kate, June, Chris, Jim, and Sue (Gary), grandchildren Amanda, Tylere, Alyssa, Dakota, and Destiny, and great granddaughter Katana.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (11750 207 Street, Maple Ridge, BC) on Wed, April 19 at 7:00PM. We would like to thank all of the wonderful nursing staff who cared for our Mum in her last weeks here on Earth. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the BC Cancer Society.
