Bob passed away peacefully on June 16th 2019, at the Ridge Meadows Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Shirley in 2017 and his younger brother James McNabb. He is survived by his children Donald (Debbie) McNabb of Dawson Creek BC, Donna-Jean (Jim) Maitland of Maple Ridge BC and Scott (Amber) McNabb of Armstrong BC. Grandchildren: Duncan (Daylce), Kevin (Trish), Caely-Ann (Mohamed), Kevin, Craig, Corey and Chelsea. Great Grandchildren: Anders, Anja, Toryn, Tyler (Jasmine), Ryley, Savannah and Maddox. Bob was born in Edmonton Alberta in 1930. At a young age his family moved to the Kootenays BC living in Sheep Creek, Trail and Nelson. Nelson is where Bob and Shirley married and started their family. After moves to Burnaby, Haney and Kelowna they settled in Haney (Maple Ridge) for good in 1961. Here they raised their family and made lifelong friends and memories. Bob competed in many sports and from those acquired a few nicknames. Baseball (Sniff) and curling (Boomer). He also loved the poems by Robert Service.

"There's a land where the mountains are nameless, And the rivers all run God knows where; There are lives that are erring and aimless, And deaths that just hang by a hair; There are hardships that nobody reckons; There are valleys unpeopled and still; There's a land - oh, it beckons and beckons, And I want to go back and I will."
Rest in Peace Dad until we meet again.
