Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 94.
Born in Gateshead, England. His family moved to Port Moody, Canada when he was 7 months old.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 70 years Annette, daughter Loria Townend, son Tom (Lori) and grandsons Nigel (Brooke) and Skyler (Jen) also numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth Potts and his only sister Dorthy Symonds (Bill).
Joe retired from Reichold Chemicals in 1989 and spent his time with his grandsons and going fishing.
Joe and Annette moved to Pitt Meadows and then Maple Ridge in 1994.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital for the great care Joe received before his passing.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society or the Ridge Meadows Hospital Society would be appreciated.
