It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom Kathie Schafer at McKenney Creek Hospice on January 10th, 2018 at the age of 76.
Kathie is survived by three daughters: Charmaine (Doug), Ann (Kevin), Janet (Mike), seven grandchildren Jessica (Evan), Tyler James, Scott, Colleen, Tyler Michael, Madeline, Cody (who she never met) and great granddaughter Everly.
She is also survived by six siblings and many nieces and nephews. Kathie came to Canada in 1970, and made a life in Maple Ridge in 1974 as an accountant. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
You are finally free of pain and at peace mom, rest well. You will always be in our hearts forever. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to McKenny Creek Hospice would be appreciated.
