WILSON, KENNETH
November 16th, 1949 to February 17th, 2008. Surrounded by his family Kenneth Albert Wilson passed away peacefully on a beautiful Sunday morning. Ken had been fighting a heroic battle with lung cancer since January 2007. Ken was a devoted family man and he had also been a part of the Coquitlam Moody and Port Coquitlam Minor Baseball Association for over 25 years. His love and loyalty to the game had him out getting the diamonds ready even through chemotherapy. He was well known and well liked in the Tri City community. A smile or tip of his baseball cap would always greet you. He's not in pain anymore and for that we are thankful. We know he is enjoying his view from heaven and getting the baseball diamonds ready there as well. Dad will be forever in the hearts of his loving wife and best friend Donna; children Laura (Kevin), Kammy (Mark), Tyler (Allison), & Imre (Cheyrl); grandchildren Alex, Megan and Wilson-Max; brothers Bob (Joni), Al (Betty), Dave (Vicki), and sister Anne (Doug). Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Crossroads Hospice. A celebration of Ken's life will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 2pm at the Burkeview Funeral Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave., Port Coquitlam.
In lieu of flowers donations to the
Crossroads Hospice Society in
Port Moody would be appreciated.
WE LOVE YOU
