It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother. Her compassion and kindness was known by many. Leona loved people, good shoes, unique jewelry and beautiful flowers.
Leona is survived by her sons Russell and Steven (Randi) Murray and her granddaughters, Ruby and Laura May, her companion Kim Halonen, and her sisters, Anna Brown and Carole Helin, as well as
many nieces, nephews and friends.
At Leona's request, there will be no service and, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
