It is with great sadness that the family of Marek Malinowski announce his passing on April 4, 2019 in Maple Ridge, BC. Predeceased by his parents Eugeniusz Malinowski and Bronislawa Kopciowska. Survived by.... His daughters, Ivy and Jennifer. Son in law Sacha. His granddaughter Olivia. Mother of his children, Lisa. His brothers and sister and their families.
Where do we start... he was a simple man to say the least. He loved music. ALL sorts of songs he would play air guitar, dance and sing along. He loved to build bikes - he may have even built you one. He was a collector of all the stuff but most passionate about old stamps. Anything old or antique. He loved his job where he worked for 32 years at Canadian Freightways. He was a Toronto Maple Leafs fan but also enjoyed watching the Vancouver Canucks. He loved playing cribbage all hours of the night at the local Tim Hortons with his buddies. He once made a scale model of Alexander Robinson Elementary school out of paper for his daughter's science fair project. He loved the outdoors, loved fishing at Mike Lake, salmon fishing on the Fraser, loved to drive and find the best spots to just relax and fish. We love you so much.
Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Garden Hill Funeral Home, 11765 - 224th Street, Maple Ridge.
