BREIDDAL Marilyn (nee Salmon). Sept 21, 1943 ~ Dec 25, 2012. Surrounded by family, Marilyn passed peacefully on December 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Calgary, Alberta September 21, 1943, formerly of Maple Ridge, BC & the past seven years in Naramata, BC. She is survived by her devoted, loving husband David of 44 yrs. Loving son Brian (Lisa) Breiddal, Darling SweetPea daughter, Leanne (Jerry) Pacheco. Cherished & the joy of their Nanna's life, Julia & Emily Pacheco, Ava & Luca Breiddal. Marilyn will also be fondly & lovingly remembered by her mother Audrey Dearden & Step Father Ed (Calgary) & Mother-in-law, Nellie Breiddal (North Vancouver). Missing her with lots of happy memories are her three sisters, Laura-Mae (Bob), Linda (Wayne), Brenda Lee (Gord), and brother Douglas, all of Alberta. Brother-in-law Ellis (June), Sister-in-law, Sandra (Tom) Hultman, both of North Vancouver. She also leaves ten special nephews and a niece. Predeceased by her father, Claude & Father-in-law Franklin. Marilyn was happy to enjoy the company of her Penticton Curling friends and the great friendships that developed over the years. She also loved her Calgary Stampeders. Marilyn was so very proud with the help from Dave to have raised two wonderful children to be responsible, talented and loving individuals. Celebration of life will be held at the Naramata Community Church, 3rd Street & Robinson Ave on January 6th at 1:00pm with Rev. Sandra Stickney officiating. The family appreciates with sincere gratitude the loving compassion that Dr. Ginevra Fullard gave to Marilyn & her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Okanagan Cancer Centre, Penticton or Kelowna or the Canadian Heart & Stroke would be appreciated.
