RICE ~ Myrtle Agnes
(nee HARDY)
Myrtle Rice, born Mar 7, 1913, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2006.
She leaves behind eight children: Kathy (Hank), Marilyn (Jim), Sylvia (Hank), Bob (Deanna), Jack (Karin), David, Tom and Dorothy plus 18 grandchildren and 17 great grand children.
She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, sense of humour, the cookies and cups of tea she made for anyone who came to visit and for the quiet strength she demonstrated with the life challenges she encountered.
Our thanks to Dr. Mawani and the staff at Holyrood Manor for the exceptional care she received.
A celebration of life will follow at a later date in Kelowna.
