It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Olga Tainton nee Chrapko on April 6, 2021. Born on February 3, 1932 in Alberta.
The beloved wife of Ronald W Tainton for over 67 years. Cherished mother of Debra Ann (Alan) and Gordon Richard (Anne). She was blessed with five grandchildren; Kelly, Kim, Kate, Matthew and Pauline and 5 great grandchildren; Kayden, Jaxon, Avery, Brooklyn and Greyson.
Predeceased by her parents, Kate and George and brother Walter. She is survived by her brother Bill (Helen) and sister Iris (Alex).
The family has determined that, because of Covid restrictions, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date when family and friends may attend such celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. registration # 118784891 RR0001. Our family expresses sincere gratitude to the entire team of Shaughnessy Care Center for their professionalism and kindness to Olga during the last 30 months of her life.
