It is with great sadness we said good bye to our Mom, Granny, and Great Grandmother (GeeGee) April 19, 1926 - April 26, 2020. Burla is survived by her daughter Bonnie and husband Doug Willis, a granddaughter Shannon (Willis) Haig, and 5 great grandchildren, Connor, Alex, Dawson, Brayden and Eliza Haig. Predeceased by her only grandson Steven Willis in 1995. Her parents Opal Katherine (Hunter), Eugene Joesph, her two brothers Eugene Cache, and Robert Gates, (Bob) Bourgeois.
Burla, lived in many parts of BC throughout her life time. She was born in Williams Lake and grew up in FOREST GROVE BC just outside of 100 Mile House. Burla was very lucky to have lived to a grand age of 94 and for the most part until March of this year was very healthy and mobile.
A memorial will be held at a later date to remember Burla.
