On December 20, 2017, Peter Dennis Jacobsen passed away. He was a resident of Maple Ridge since 1979.
Peter was born on October 7, 1934 in Lake Alma, Sask. He was the oldest of 4 children. He and his wife Eileen moved to BC in the 50's and built a home in North Vancouver.
He started up his company, Mainland Excavating and worked throughout the lower mainland for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Eileen, his sons Doug (Pam), Darryl (Elaine) and daughter Debbie (was pre-deceased by his son-in-law David).
Peter was a wonderful grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The funeral for Peter will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3:30 pm at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel 11969 - 216th St., Maple Ridge.
Peter was loved and will be truly missed.
