Peter passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the age of 94 years.
Peter was predeceased by his wife Nettie and survived by daughter Sandra, sons Robert and David, grandchildren Shane and Ryan and great grandchildren Kai and Shaienne. Peter had one surviving sister and four brothers. Peter was raised in Hazel Dell, Sask. At a young age he left home and joined the Armed Forces and went overseas. He became a WWII Vet. After the war he worked in Manitoba as a miner.
He married and had his first son. After one year he moved his family to Vancouver, B.C. He worked as a miner before setting on a career as an Orderly at G.F. Strong.
After several years he changed careers and worked for Dominion Bridge as a printer.
Peter had a passion for fishing, loved baseball and golf.
He was a gentle soul who loved to help people. You will be missed Dad.
