Reginald Dwayne Mess

It is with profound sadness that the family of Reginald Mess, 60, of Maple Ridge, announce his passing on February 25th, 2023 at Vancouver General Hospital after a battle with leukemia.
Reg was born in Saskatchewan on June 7th, 1962 to parents Alma and Harrison Mess.
He will be remembered for his love of life, his artistry behind a camera, his adventurous spirit and his giving nature. An award-winning photographer and long-time accredited member of both the Professional Photographers of Canada and the United States, Reg was one of only a handful of photographers awarded the prestigious degree of Master of Photographic Arts in both countries.
Left to mourn are his mother and stepfather, Alma and Emyrs McGill of Tugaske, Saskatchewan; brother Kelly and Reg's treasured daughter, Mikayla, of Abbotsford.
Reg was predeceased by his brother Rodney(1985) and father Harrison (2009). Many heartbroken aunts, uncles, cousins and friends are among those who will forever miss Reg.
A Celebration of Life will take place March 25th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ranch Pub and Grill Maple Ridge with a memorial planned for the summer in Tugaske, date to be announced.
