Born 27th July 1935, passed away peacefully on 20th March 2018 after a lengthy stay in Ridge Meadows Hospital. He is survived by his adoring wife of 62 years, Margaret Rose (Pierce), his sons Kevin and Michael. Grandchildren, Sophie, Breezey, Samantha, Scot, Emily & Spencer. Great Grandchildren, Alexi, Levi & Miles.
Reg was born in Brighton, Sussex, England to Walter and Isabel (Smith). He is survived by sister Win, brother Derek and sister Carol. Predeceased by brother Bill and sister Joan.
Reg joined the British Army as a young man in the Royal Engineers and served his country for many years. During this time he met and married his beloved Margaret (Mags). After their sons were born he settled down to a long successful career with The Southdown Bus Company. Mags and Reg had homes in Brighton and in Shoreham-by-sea, Sussex.
In 1988 he and Mags immigrated to BC, Canada to be close to their sons & to enjoy some new adventures. Reg found work with Translink and stayed with them until his retirement in 1997. He was a keen gardener, home renovator and snooker player, who never gave up following the British Premiere Soccer and supporting his home team "Brighton and Hove Albion". He had a passion for taking trips & exploring new places with Mags always by his side. He especially loved heading south in his "rig" to Arizona and California in search of some sun!
Reg was a devoted Husband, Father & Grandfather.
