It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our loving father Bob Garbutt. He passed away at the age of 73.
As a young man Bob started his Sawmill career as a saw filer in Victoria, then relocated with his family to Maple Ridge, and continued his career at Hammond Cedar until his retirement.
Bob was an avid sports fan, especially football, baseball and golf, and he especially enjoyed golfing with his friends and grandsons regularly for many years.
Bob loved spending time with his family. He was a great Dad and was very proud of his grandkids. He loved his football and hockey pools and met many wonderful friends over the years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda Janzen. His sisters Muriel (Gary) Caton and Judy Garbutt. His daughter Corry (Clarke) Longmuir and son Blair (Shannon) Garbutt and his grandchildren Camryn, Jackson, Jacob, Makayla and Michael.
His stepchildren Trini (Doug), Vincent (Tamara) and step grandchildren Brittni, Lily, Jack and Peter.
He will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten. Love always Corry and Blair and family
Due to Covid, the celebration of life will be held at a later date.
