DAY Roy Robert Charles
May 18, 1933 - October 10, 2012
Roy passed away peacefully at Maple Ridge Seniors Village in the presence of family. Predeceased by his wife Lena (1989), and wife Shirley (2006). Left to love and remember him are his daughters & sons-in-law Carole (Frank), Janette (Peter), and Michelle (Sean); brother Peter and sister Audrey, many nieces and nephews, fellow archers and countless friends. Dad was a tool and die maker by trade, a skilled craftsman in metal and wood, and a true ``Mr. Fix-It``. His passion for the art, craft and history of archery touched many in his community and around the world. We will greatly miss his love of life, his sense of humour, his dulcet tones and gentle heart. A service to celebrate the life of our remarkable Dad will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 88 (Maple Ridge), 12101 224th St., Maple Ridge, BC on November 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dad`s favourite charity, the Children's Hospital Foundation, would be greatly appreciated. "Never give up"
