HYTAINEN, Roy 1931 - 2014. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Roy Hytainen on July 16, 2014 at Kelowna General Hospital. Roy was born in Chase, British Columbia in 1931, and made Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge his life-long home. An avid golfer and fisherman, Roy lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his loving wife Mimi, daughters Kaari and Susan (Sean), and his grandchildren Jesse, Ali, Bradley, and Krissy. Roy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who took the greatest pleasure in spending time with his family. A celebration of Roy's life will be held Saturday, August 23 at the Pitt Meadows Heritage Hall, 12460 Harris Road, Pitt Meadows at 1:00.
