DOBIE, Sarah (Betty) Elizabeth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah (Betty) Elizabeth Dobie, age 94, of Maple Ridge on December 6, 2016. She had 94 great years and lived her life with courage, strength and a tremendous sense of humour. We are proud to say she showed this character to the end.
Family and friends meant everything to our Mom. She was the consummate "homer" and we all knew she was there cheering for us. We are all going to miss the support that was there for us through thick and thin. "Nan" is survived by her six children, Sharlene (Larry), Gary (Carol), Ron (Maxine), Glen (Andy), Alan (Sharon), Kathi (Rich) and her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. We promise you Mom that we will carry forward your legacy of kindness, family and love!
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held in spring 2017.
