Shirley passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge after a short battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, George and her parents David Samuel and Florence May (nee Dickey) Thomas.
Survived by her sons Michael (Marg), his daughters Alyssa and Tara, their mother Barbara; David (Carmen) their daughters Jessica and Meghan; and Scott (Rae).
Shirley was an active member in the Ladies' Orange Benevolent Association; T.O.P.S. and St. Bride's Traditional Anglican Church.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 26, 2021, at 1 pm in the Chapel at the Maple Ridge Funeral Home, 11969 - 216 St, Maple Ridge, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency or Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.
