August 21, 1955 - January 14, 2024

Ted passed away at Ridge Meadows Hospital on January 14, 2024. We wish to express our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Ted.

Ted was born in Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on August 21, 1955.

Ted moved to BC with his family in 1966 at the age of 11. Ted started delivering papers and bought his first car at the age of 14. At the age of 16 Ted decided to go to work instead of finishing school. He worked at sharpening poles near Princeton, BC. This was followed by driving truck, working at UBC Research Forrest, swamping picking up garbage while his mom drove.

Ted finally settled on owning a moving and delivery company (Cloverleaf Delivery & Moving) with his dad. This turned into doing deliveries full-time for Haney Sewing and Sound. He was still working there when he passed away.

When Ted wasn't working, he was hunting, four wheeling, and travelling around BC and the rest of Canada. You would always find a dog by his side.

Ted was also a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles #2831.

Ted was predeceased by his father Corney.

Survived by his mother Yvonne, wife Linda, son Blair, granddaughter Alexis, siblings Yvette (Doug), Cindy (Wade), Lynne (Jeff), Crystal (Mike), and numerous nieces and nephews.

The service was held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Garden Hill Funeral Home.

Ted's cremains will be interred in The Meadows, Maple Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
