LOGAN ~ Vern Alexander
January 09, 1930 - March 09, 2006
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather; Vern left our lives with his family by his side. Vern is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carrie of 13 years; older brother Ron, 4 sons Gary (Deon), James, David (Sandie), Craig; 2 stepchildren John (Janet), Janet (Lorne); 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, his love and passion was clearly evident. Vern was predeceased by his first wife Terry (1991) and his sister Rita (2005) Vern was employed by Dairyland for 42 years and retired in 1993. He loved to spend time with family & friends, play the occasional cards and golf with his brother in-law and good friend Frank. All will miss his friendship (love) and humor.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the MAPLE RIDGE FUNERAL CHAPEL (Osborn's) 11969 - 216th St. Maple Ridge, BC. Thursday March 16, 2006. at 11:30 Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, If desired, please send donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
