November 8, 1934 - October 18, 2023

Victor Herald Gervais of Maple Ridge, B.C. peacefully passed away, with his family at his beside Oct 18th, 2023, only 3 weeks short of his 90th birthday, Nov 8th 1934.

Vic was born on the family farm in Loon Rover, Saskatchewan and is predeceased by his parents Patrice and Gertie Gervais, and two brothers, David and Peter Gervais.

Vic left the family farm and came to B.C. at the age of 14 years, where he met and married his long time friend and love of his life, for over 65 years, Clara Kristina Brooks - Krissy he liked to call her.

He was a B.C. west coast logger for over 50 years, before he retired and took up twig and outdoor furniture building as a hobby. He and his wife loved their sports, and were avid B.C. Lions season ticket holders. Summers during fire season, yearly, were large extended family vacations to the beaches, camping and fishing in the Okanagan.

He leaves behind to grieve his passing, his wife, Stina Gervais (as most know her), eldest daughter, Cindy Gervais, daughter Candis (Patty) Taylor (John), his son Victor N Gervais (Rachine) and his two siblings Patsy Carson (Tom) and Linda Genereaux.

He also will be dearly missed by his 6 grandchildren David, Jacob, Patrick, Zachary, Candis and the youngest Benjamin, his 6 great grandchildren, the Stefanek's, Levi, Lucy, Katlyn, Calvin and Brooklyn.

He was a loving, faithful husband, father and grandfather that will be laid to rest in the Herman Gervais family graveyard, Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.
