January 10, 1956 - November 25, 2021
In loving memory ~
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Wendy Anne Trarback Jorgenson, at age 65, on November 25, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer and covid although double vaccinated but immune compromised.
Wendy was born January 10, 1956, the youngest of three children born to William and Evelyn Trarback. She grew up in Saskatchewan. She excelled in sports, shot put and field hockey. Wendy worked in the health field as a care aid in geriatrics. She loved taking care of the older folks. All that knew her, knew that Wendy absolutely loved animals of all shapes and sizes. She was always there if an animal needed help. We are sure that she is enjoying visiting with her pets that have been waiting for her. Tiny, Talon, Dolly, Jake, Fritz and Weiland must be enjoying having their mom back.
Wendy enjoyed people and was always organizing special events. She enjoyed raising chickens and turkeys, gardening and camping. She was appointed as a Marriage Commissioner and especially enjoyed uniting people into wedlock. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband Brad Noort, brother Bill Trarback, mother-in- law Phyllis Noort, sons, Jason (Chay) Jorgenson, Darren ("Cook") Jorgenson and grandchildren, Scarlet, Coen and Katie Jorgenson, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Ron Trarback and her daughter Karena Jorgenson.
A special thank you to the doctors and staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their valiant attempt to help Wendy survive and for their kind assistance in allowing online communication with Wendy and continuous update on her condition.
As per Wendy's wishes a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Wendy would prefer you get covid vaccinated and if you wish, a donation to BC Cancer Society in her name. Messages of condolence to the family can be sent to: 11478 272 St, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 1Y8
