MEYER, Wilfred Maurice. Feb 27, 1915 - May 19, 2011. Wilfred passed away on May 19th, 2011 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by his wife Joyce in 2007 and by his brothers Harry and Eric and sister Winnifred Matheson. Survived by his son Bruce, daughter Marilyn, grandsons Graeme, Jeffrey, Matthew, Jeremy, Daniel and Andrew, and sister Margaret Kirstein. Wilfred was a proud Veteran of the RCAF in World War II and served overseas from 1941 to 1945. Born in Vancouver, Wilfred raised his family in North Burnaby and worked for CPR Telecommunications until his move to Maple Ridge and retirement in 1973. Wilfred was a longtime member of the Pitt Meadows Golf Club and the Golden Ears Winter Club. The family gives thanks to Dr. James Lam, and the staff of St. Michael's Hospice.
