Amalgamate and cut loose from Metro region

Merge Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows so we can stand up to Surrey

Editor, The News:

It’s time to amalgamate Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, even include Mission.  Surrey, Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby call the shots. Us little folks way out here ain’t got no say in this so-called transit plebiscite. We should band together and cut loose from Metro Vancouver. All we here is that a million people are coming.

We on the north side of the Fraser River are going to be taxed to accommodate these new people and we don’t even have proper bus service.

What a joke.

Instead of having funky little hamlets and all these mayors and bureaucrats,  let’s amalgamate. Then we will have a real voice.
