I’m curious to know if there has ever been a discussion around amalgamation of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows governing bodies.

I’m curious to know if there has ever been a discussion around amalgamation of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows governing bodies.

It would seem, to me, far more cost effective.

One mayor, one council, one staff. Slightly larger tax base.

It just makes sense regarding economies of scale
